Licorice Root has a long history of use in traditional eastern and western medicine. Licorice has anti-inflammatory, antiviral and immuno-stimulating properties. Its commonly used to treat cough, cold, flu and sore throat. Its known to relieve ailments like heartburn, leaky gut and adrenal fatigue. Its also said to ease symptoms of menopause and pms. 

*Licorice should be used in short term intervals only as when it is overused it has the potential to increase blood pressure, reduce potassium levels and can cause swelling*
